Constitutional Court Invalidates 4 Moroccan MPs’ Election Results in Al Hoceima

Elected in the last legislative elections of September 2021, four deputies from the Al Hoceima electoral district have just had their seats invalidated by the Constitutional Court.
The Constitutional Court, after careful examination of the appeals, decided to invalidate the legislative elections in the Al Hoceima constituency won by four well-known personalities from the region.
The deputies concerned are:
• Noureddine Mediane, Head of the Istiqlal group;
• Mohamed Laarej, elected from the MP;
• Mohamed Hamouti, influential figure of the PAM;
• Boutahar El Boutahiri from the RNI.
