Comedian Jamel Debbouze Reveals Close Friendship with Morocco’s King Mohammed VI

Currently in Casablanca as part of his Moroccan tour, the Franco-Moroccan Jamel Debbouze gave an interview to Hit Radio in which he discussed his relationship with King Mohammed VI.
"I would never have thought that I would live this, let alone this friendship. I am very proud of this friendship and the consideration he has for me. It is the same consideration and friendship that I have with my country, Morocco," the comedian confided.
When asked what makes the sovereign laugh, Jamel adds: "it’s him who makes me laugh. He has a lot of wit and a lot of humor, alhamdulillah. We are lucky to have an open, tolerant monarch who loves culture, who boosts it, who pushes it. We have an incredible chance and we must carry him as he carries us."
