Jamel Debbouze to Perform in Casablanca After 5-Year Hiatus

Jamel Debbouze is back in Morocco. After more than five years of absence, the Franco-Moroccan comedian will perform next month in Casablanca.
The Moroccan public will thus be able to see Jamel Debbouze’s latest show "Maintenant ou Jamel" from January 8 to 12 at the Megarama in Casablanca, the star has just announced, a few weeks after being "forced" to cancel the four dates he was to give in Morocco following a conflict with the organizer of his shows.
"The company Kissman Maroc Production, the exclusive holder of the rights to Jamel Debbouze’s shows in Morocco, was forced to terminate the contract that binds it to the company Radio Planet in charge of the broadcast and organization of the show "Maintenant ou Jamel" scheduled in Casablanca on October 19 & 20," read a press release published last October.
The comedian then apologized to his audience and promised to return "very soon" to the kingdom. "I apologize from the bottom of my heart," he had declared on 2m, thanking his fans for their support.
