New Coding School Campus "1337 MED" Opens in Tétouan, Morocco

After the two campuses of the École 1337 located in Khouribga and Benguerir, the Tanger Med Group will, through its Foundation, create a third campus called 1337 MED in partnership with the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).
The new training platform will offer completely free computer programming and coding techniques, accessible to all, without any degree or computer science prerequisites, open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, according to a press release from the Tanger Med Special Agency (TMSA).
Equipped with 150 workstations, 1337 MED will increase its capacity to 210 workstations as early as 2023, with the ambition of training nearly 650 students, reports the MAP.
The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, as part of this partnership, will provide the necessary technical and educational support for the launch and sustainable management of this new branch. The young people of the region will thus benefit from high-level training and access to an international network of computer developers.
In the era of accelerated digitalization, strengthening Moroccan skills in the digital field and promoting digital entrepreneurship constitute both a professional opportunity for Moroccan youth and an imperative for national development and competitiveness.
The launch of 1337 MED, in partnership with UM6P, enriches the network of the national network with a training offer for digital technology architects in the northern region of the Kingdom.
