Citroën’s Moroccan-Made Electric AMI to Launch in UK Market in 2022

After France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the small Citroën AMI, produced in Morocco, will attack the United Kingdom as of 2022. Several British customers have already expressed interest in the 100% electric car.
The two-seater electric car manufactured since 2020 in the Kenitra plant has clearly been very successful in Europe.
According to a Citroën press release, the United Kingdom will be the next stage of this deployment as this model will be marketed there in 2022.
Its seductive power seems to have caught the eye of Citroën executives in the United Kingdom, reports Automotive News Europe, which announces that more than 12,000 British customers have already expressed interest in the small car.
European consumers appreciate, it is said, the innovative, "eco-friendly" and affordable side of the vehicle, specifies the management, specifying that AMI has totaled 9,000 orders since its launch, including 6,500 for France and 2,000 for Italy.
