Citroën to Launch Affordable Electric Microcar in Morocco for Urban Drivers

Starting next June, the French automaker Citroën plans to market the first electric car in Morocco, at a price of 6,900 euros, or 70,000 dirhams.
AMI. This is the name given to this car that does not require a driver’s license. With a maximum speed set at 45 km/h, it will have two seats and be 2.41 meters long.
With a battery range of 70 kilometers, the electric car, manufactured at the Kenitra plant, will offer new alternatives for urban driving and in terms of consumption.
When it was introduced in Morocco, the Peugeot-Citroën group, like its eternal competitor Renault, had expressed its intention to develop the electric car market through its Kenitra plant.
