Chinese Medical Team Provides Free Care to Expats in Casablanca
A Chinese medical team organized a free surgical camp on October 6 in [Casablanca].
The fifth of its kind, this camp allowed more than 100 Chinese residing in Morocco to receive free care. In action, 12 doctors from different specialties: orthopedics, pediatrics, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, ophthalmology, ENT and endocrinology.
The initiative was greatly appreciated by many one-day patients who refrain from going to Moroccan doctors or hospitals because of the language barrier.
According to Xu Yanling, Director of the Chinese medical team, it intends to raise awareness among Chinese nationals in [Morocco] about health care by organizing a free surgical camp every year.
