Chinese Experts Assess Morocco’s COVID-19 Vaccine Production Readiness

A few days before the launch of the vaccination campaign, a delegation of Chinese scientific experts recently traveled to Morocco, for a visit of the facilities set up for the manufacture of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The daily Assabah reported that meetings were held a few days ago between Moroccan and Chinese experts. The latter focused on Morocco’s operational readiness to produce the new vaccine.
During a visit to the Sothema pharmaceutical laboratories, representatives of the Chinese pharmaceutical giant reviewed the new facilities of the Moroccan industrial operator, the newspaper adds.
The visit of the Chinese medical team is part of the partnership and cooperation agreements signed with the producer of the Covid-19 vaccine, Sinopharm. A win-win partnership that will benefit both Morocco and China, through the manufacture and distribution of the vaccine across the African continent.
