Chelsea’s Ziyech Struggles: Former Star Urges Moroccan Midfielder to Seek Transfer

A former Chelsea player compares Hakim Ziyech as an attacking midfielder for the London club and the former star of Ajax as a player for the Moroccan national team, and recommends that he quickly leave the club.
Arrived at Chelsea in the summer of 2020 from Ajax for a contract of 38 million pounds sterling, the Moroccan international has not been able to establish himself at Stamford Bridge, not because he does not have the will to amaze the fans of the London club, but because he is not well used by the Blues. A situation that worries the former Chelsea player, Frank Lebœuf. Asked about a possible departure from Chelsea, he replies to ESPN: "Well, certainly Ziyech. He is not happy and he wants to work."
And he adds: "Every time he plays for Morocco, he is the best player in the world, and every time he plays for Chelsea, he feels sad and lost. [...] So I wish him to go elsewhere, where he can show the world that he is still the Ziyech we saw when he played at Ajax."
