Chelsea’s Ziyech Ruled Out of Arsenal Clash Due to Ongoing Injury

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has announced that Hakim Ziyech will not be part of the match the club is playing this Saturday against Arsenal. According to the coach, the Moroccan international has not yet fully recovered from his thigh injury.
The Atlas Lion was injured on December 5, during the match that pitted Chelsea against Leeds. A match that ended in a 3-1 victory for the Blues. The coach had announced, a few days after this match, that Hakim Ziyech’s injury was not so worrying and that he would join his teammates after two weeks.
But with the announcement of his absence from such an important match as the one Chelsea is playing on Saturday, December 26, as part of the 15th round of the Premier League, everything suggests that the injury appears to be much more serious. On social media, Lampard confides that he hopes to recover his player very soon, whose skills are sorely lacking in the finishing of the game that Chelsea is proposing.
In the standings of the English championship, Chelsea currently occupies the 5th place with 25 points accumulated in 14 matches (7 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses).
