Chelsea’s Ziyech Eyes Ajax Return Amid Transfer Speculation

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech would like to return to Ajax Amsterdam — where he wrote the beautiful pages of his football career — and does not hide it.
While he is on the radar of Atletico Madrid and AC Milan, the Chelsea attacking midfielder is eager to join his former club, Ajax Amsterdam. "I would love (to come back)," Hakim Ziyech told Soccer News. "I had a fantastic time there," recalls the Atlas Lion. "It’s a place where I felt at home, and if it happens one day, the future will tell. But if it depends on me, it will certainly happen."
The Moroccan international shone at Ajax before his transfer to Chelsea in the summer of 2020. With the English club, he is under contract until June 2025. So far, he has failed to establish himself to the point that he is regularly announced as a potential departure candidate. The Blues midfielder is rarely used by the club’s coach.
