Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech Set to Join Galatasaray After Passing Medical
The attacking midfielder of Chelsea Hakim Ziyech is about to join the Galatasaray squad. On Thursday, he successfully passed his medical examination, a crucial step for his signing.
Hakim Ziyech successfully passed his medical tests with Galatasaray on Thursday morning, Sky Sports reveals. If the information is confirmed, the Chelsea attacking midfielder would leave Stamford Bridge for Turkey in the coming days. The English club and Galatasaray would have already reached an agreement for the recruitment of the 30-year-old player, Talk Sport reported.
This is the third examination he has undergone in 2023. While he was about to sign with PSG, he had undergone his medical examination in Paris during the winter transfer window, but the delay in Chelsea’s transmission of the administrative files necessary for the approval of his contract caused his transfer to fall through. Recently, his transfer to Al Nassr failed due to an alleged knee problem. But the former Ajax star had mentioned a financial disagreement.
Ziyech’s transfer to Galatasaray will put an end to his misadventure at Chelsea.
