Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech Joins Galatasaray on Loan: Financial Details Revealed

Galatasaray officially announced on Saturday evening the arrival of Moroccan international, Hakim Ziyech, transferred from Chelsea FC. The Moroccan was presented to nearly 50,000 supporters from the stands of the stadium.
Discussing his transfer, Hakim Ziyech declares: "I am very happy and excited to play for the greatest club in Turkey". This acquisition is in the form of a free loan with a purchase option, according to the details provided by an Italian journalist specializing in the Transfer Market. In addition, Galatasaray revealed on X (formerly Twitter) the financial details of the deal.
Hakim Ziyech will receive a net seasonal allowance of 3,587,500 euros for the 2023-2024 season. If a transfer is concluded, another allowance of 2,850,000 euros will be paid for the following season. A contract extension option could allow him to receive the same amount for the 2025-2026 season.
Ziyech’s arrival in Turkey was not without difficulty. There were rumors about the player’s health issues, particularly with his left knee, hampering a previous transfer to Saudi Al Nasr. But Erden Timur, vice-president of Galatasaray, recently confirmed that the negotiations regarding the player were still ongoing and that no health issue had been reported so far.
