Chelsea Eyes January Move for Ronaldo Amid Man United Tensions
The Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, currently at odds with Manchester United, could soon sign with Chelsea, thus joining Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech.
Stuck at the Red Devils, Ronaldo could benefit from an unexpected exit door, reports the Daily Mail, specifying that Chelsea is still considering recruiting the Portuguese star.
According to the newspaper, the new owner of the Blues, Todd Boehly, would be determined to sign him during the next transfer window. The idea is for the American to use his good relationship with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, for a transfer as early as January.
Despite the rumors of a transfer as early as this winter, it is possible that CR7 will join the Moroccan Hakim Ziyech on the London side. The star has recently been sidelined from the Manchester United first team since his outburst and refusal to come on as a substitute against Tottenham.
