Chelsea Clinches First FIFA Club World Cup Title, Defeating Palmeiras 2-1

New consecration for the Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech. For the first time in its history, Chelsea won the Club World Cup on Saturday evening, defeating Palmeiras (2-1) in Abu Dhabi.
This is the third title the Moroccan player has won with Chelsea, after the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup. On Saturday evening, it was Kai Havertz’s penalty kick during extra time that allowed Chelsea to win their first FIFA Club World Cup by beating the Brazilians from Palmeiras (2-1).
The first goal was scored by Romelu Lukaku in the 55th minute. The Brazilians did not take long to respond less than ten minutes later, on a penalty awarded after a VAR review. The conversion was signed by Raphael Veiga. Chelsea, determined not to give up so close to the goal, increased the score on a penalty converted by Kai Havertz.
