Cessna 210 Crashes Near Tangier, Pilot Missing as Investigation Begins

A Cessna 210 light aircraft crashed this Tuesday near Tangier, in the commune of Hjar Nhal. Firefighters and gendarmes rushed to the scene to comb through what remains of the aircraft.
"This Tuesday, September 20, around 5:45 a.m., the crash of a light aircraft occurred. Responders equipped with equipment and measuring instruments approached the impact point of the plane and closely examined the scattered parts in the fields," sources told Barlamane.
The aircraft crashed a few minutes after takeoff, the same sources say. The pilot on board is actively being sought by the police. An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the accident. The surrounding populations have been asked not to approach the crash site, pending the evacuation of the wreckage.
