Central African Republic Seeks Venue Change for Morocco Match Amid COVID-19 Concerns

The Central African Football Federation does not want its team to play in Morocco. It cites the rise in coronavirus cases to demand the relocation of the match to be held in November.
According to the schedule of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the match between Morocco and the Central African Republic for the third and fourth rounds of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers will be held on November 9 and 12. Morocco will host the Central African Republic in the first leg. But the Central African Football Federation categorically refuses.
In a letter addressed to the highest body of African football, the Central African Republic believes that Morocco is not in the necessary health conditions to host such a match. But many believe that if CAF has scheduled this match, while knowing the epidemiological situation in Morocco, it is because the authorities will take the necessary measures, reports le360.
Many observers think that the Central African Republic is trying to play on the psychology of the Atlas Lions by hiding behind the coronavirus, the same source specifies.
