Central African Republic Coach Slams Refereeing, Criticizes Morocco’s Amrabat After 4-0 Loss

Raoul Savoy, the coach of the Central African Republic team, strongly criticized the refereeing at the end of his team’s 4-0 defeat against Morocco. In the press conference, he notably pointed the finger at the behavior of the Moroccan midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat.
"I don’t understand how a player like Amrabat doesn’t end up with a yellow card. He makes nasty fouls every time, and yet, he’s left alone," said the Central African coach.
Savoy also deplored the lack of disciplinary sanctions against other Moroccan players. "Many players should have received a yellow card, but that wasn’t the case," he added.
While acknowledging Morocco’s superiority, which he describes as "the best team in Africa at the moment," Raoul Savoy expressed his bitterness about the refereeing. "Anyone playing here tonight would have taken a beating," he conceded, before concluding ironically: "But if the referee was also doing his job, it would help us a bit. Because right now, it’s not normal that Amrabat finishes the match without a card, for example."
