Celebrities Celebrate Morocco’s Historic World Cup Advancement

Since Thursday evening, messages have been pouring in to congratulate the Atlas Lions after their qualification for the round of 16 of the World Cup. Some celebrities have also posted videos on the internet expressing their joy.
"Pride, emotions, immense joy! Congratulations to our Atlas Lions," wrote Gad Elmaleh. For her part, Egyptian actress and dancer Fifi Abdou thanked the Moroccan players for having, beyond Morocco, "honored the entire Arab world. I love you very much."
Singer Faudel also expressed his joy in an Instagram story. "Congratulations! It’s nice to see a Maghreb team win." Cheb Khaled also left a few words on the web, congratulating the Lions. "Congratulations to all Moroccans today. I share this joy with all the Arab nations. I wish you more success inshallah," it reads.
This qualification of Morocco, which comes after 36 years of waiting, has left no one indifferent. This is the case of comedian and actor Jamel Debbouze, who posted a photo celebrating the victory of the Atlas Lions. French Montana, an American rapper of Moroccan origin, also posted a story in which he expressed all his admiration for his country.
