Casablanca: Shock After Murder of 74-Year-Old Taxi Driver

The hypothesis of a nighttime robbery attack was quickly ruled out by investigators. Last Saturday, the judicial police of Casablanca and the Aïn Chock brigade, supported by DGST intelligence, finally arrested two men aged 40 and 48 simultaneously, one in Casablanca and the other in Oujda.

Astonishment doubled at the announcement of the profile of the presumed killers. They are in fact two former colleagues of the victim, also working as taxi drivers. For many years, the three men had maintained a particularly close working relationship. They even sat together on the board of a local union, an organization in which the septuagenarian held a key position.
