Casablanca to Receive 400 New Buses in Early 2020 Amid Transport Crisis

In response to the public transport crisis currently affecting the city of Casablanca, the Minister of the Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, indicated that the situation requires the adoption of urgent resolutions without waiting for the arrival of the new buses. Thus, he announced that the city will be equipped with 400 buses at the beginning of next year.
700 buses are expected for 2020, of which 400 will be available from the beginning of the year. During the weekly session of oral questions, Abdelaoufi Laftit noted that the competent authorities of the economic capital of the Kingdom are actively seeking solutions to end the crisis shaking the public transport sector.
The Minister indicated that this solution is temporary and that the research continues to definitively end the crisis and thus respond to the grievances of the population.
