Casablanca Police Inspector Suspended Amid Fraud and Blackmail Allegations

The General Directorate of National Security has decided to suspend a police inspector from his duties pending the application of disciplinary sanctions, following accusations of fraud and blackmail.
According to the daily Assabah, the individual was abusing his powers by blackmailing his many victims, after luring them into his trap by promising them marriage. He used the same method to embezzle money from them.
Under the pretext that the marriage authorization had to be validated by the DGSN, the inspector took advantage of these long waiting periods to relieve his victims of their money.
His latest victim had to pay him large sums to furnish his apartment in Ain chock in Casablanca. But, faced with his dubious behavior, she preferred to recover her money. Her request was rejected by the inspector who did not hesitate to threaten her if she dared to denounce him.
