Casablanca Officials Urge Vigilance as Delta Variant Surges, Push for Vaccination and Telework

The Wilaya of Casablanca-Settat relaunched on Friday its call for increased vigilance in the face of the resurgence of Covid-19 with a surge of the Delta variant. It insists on compliance with barrier gestures, on granting facilities to employees to get vaccinated, but also encourages the adoption of telework when possible.
While viral circulation there is clearly on the rise, the Wilaya of Casablanca Settat is calling on the population to be "vigilant" about compliance with barrier measures, reports the MAP.
Through a press release, the Wilaya reiterated its call for individual and collective mobilization, inviting the eligible population not yet vaccinated to go massively to the dedicated centers to get vaccinated, as vaccination is now the only way to protect themselves individually and collectively against this pandemic and thus curb its spread.
The Wilaya also calls on the responsibility of companies while inviting professionals to ensure compliance with health requirements and barrier measures within their units and to grant more facilities to their employees to go to vaccination sites.
In addition, the Wilaya is encouraging telework. The private sector in the Casablanca-Settat Region is invited to favor telework when possible.
