Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport Opens New Terminal for Domestic Flights
Decided by the National Airports Office at the beginning of the month, domestic flights have been processed since this Friday, May 21 at the level of terminal 1 of Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca.
According to a message posted on social networks by the Office, all passenger check-in operations for domestic flights must now be carried out at terminal 1 instead of terminal 2 as was the custom at the Casablanca airport platform. As for the police and boarding formalities, they will be carried out at the new dedicated terminal.
Before the decision taken by the office on Friday, May 7, the check-in and boarding formalities for all domestic flights were carried out at terminal 2 of Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca.
This change, we learn, aims to optimize airport resources and rationalize operating costs for both ONDA and its partners. The decision was made with the approval of the airlines and the various stakeholders operating in the airport space, the message concludes.
