Casablanca Man Charged with Grandmother’s Murder in Al Oulfa District Attack

The people of the popular Al Oulfa district in Casablanca will not soon forget this drama that disrupted their tranquility on the night of Saturday, July 20, 2019.

Indeed, around 3 a.m., a young drug addict, a repeat offender, was seized with a fit of hysteria, to the point that he was no longer in control of himself. From then on, he began to brutalize all the people who were in his path. Even his family was not spared, reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc.

It was in this perverse momentum that the young man in question "savagely mistreated his grandmother to the point that she died", details the media. In the wake of this, his sisters and his own parents were not spared. Thus, after taking the life of his grandmother, he seriously injured his mother and the three neighbors who intervened to calm him down.

Yet, in the opinion of everyone, this young man enjoyed a good reputation in the neighborhood, until this night when he turned into a monster, under the influence of drugs.

Arrested by the police, he was brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Appeal of Casablanca.
