Casablanca to Introduce 350 New Mercedes-Benz Buses for Improved Public Transit

The process of acquiring 350 latest generation buses has just been launched by Alsa Al Baida. The new management company in the transport sector is counting on several hundred used buses imported from Europe to facilitate the movement of Casablancans.
These are 350 12-meter low-floor integral Mercedes-Benz Conecto buses, said Alberto Pérez, Managing Director of Alsa Maroc. "These buses incorporate the latest technologies in terms of safety, comfort and accessibility. They are equipped with security cameras, ticketing, GPS, and a wheelchair ramp," adds the director.
According to the Mercedes-Benz website, the Conecto buses offer the best value for money. "A low purchase price" and "an efficient and easy-to-maintain Euro VI engine." The German brand also mentions the amortization capacity of these vehicles, which can transport up to 98 passengers.
