A makeshift camp of sub-Saharan migrants, located near the Oulad Ziane bus station, was dismantled on Saturday by the authorities of Casablanca.
This camp had already been dismantled by the local authorities a few months ago. The police had intervened to evict the sub-Saharan migrants who had set up plastic tents there. On Saturday, these sub-Saharan migrants were again ordered to vacate the premises.
In 2019, a serious incident had been recorded in this makeshift camp, without causing any human damage. Since then, the local authorities have taken a tougher stance towards the migrants.
