Caribou Coffee Expands in Morocco: 10 New Stores Planned Over Next 2 Years

Caribou Coffee, the American premium coffee chain which has just inaugurated its first store in Morocco, has announced the strengthening of its presence in the country with ten other points within the next two years.
The new store, located more precisely in Casablanca, in the Racine district, cost the American group more than 5 million dirhams, bringing its cumulative investments to date to more than 10 million dirhams, reports Challenge.
Encouraged by the business climate and the domestic market, the management has announced the development of its activity in the country. This involves the creation over the next two years of at least ten sales outlets mainly distributed between Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech, it is indicated.
Caribou Coffee is present in about ten countries where it has some 300 cafes. In its domestic market, it has more than 500 units, the weekly magazine points out.
The number 2 American premium coffee chain thus joins in Morocco the Turkish Espressolab and Boost Coffee and its main competitor Starbucks, which has been present in the kingdom for about ten years and has more than twenty sales outlets there.
