Carcassonne Hospital Welcomes Last Baby of 2019 and First of 2020

New Year’s Eve was not a quiet night at the Carcassonne maternity ward. This unit of the city’s hospital had the joy of seeing the birth of the last baby of 2019, as well as the one who opened the ball of births in 2020.
Ilyes Abdelmoumen, 3.5 kg for 50 cm, was the last baby to be born in 2019 at the maternity ward of the Carcassonne hospital center. Expected by his parents for January 1, 2020, the little boy preferred to come out in the last hours of 2019. A happy birth that brings joy to his 2-year-old big sister Nélia, and to Clémence and Najim, his parents living in Pezens, reports l’Indépendant.
As for the first baby of 2020, his name is Narjisse. Weighing 3.32 kg for 47 cm, he was born at 1:06 am on January 1, to the delight of his parents, who live in Trèbes. He was the first baby to open the ball of births on the first day of the year, indicates the same source.
