Call Center Jobs in Morocco: High Stress and Low Pay, Study Finds

Call centers, one of the sectors that recruit the most in Morocco, would cause the most stress to employees. This is at least what the results of a study conducted by the recruitment portal "Rekrute" among current and former employees of this sector have revealed. This survey involved 1,359 people, 39% of whom currently work in a call center.
The study results show stress at the top of the curve. Indeed, the frantic pace of work causes it in 72% of employees.
According to the daily Al Massae, in addition to those who mention the issue of stress, 37% denounce the frantic pace of work and its conditions, 26% are unable to achieve the objectives set by the employer and 9% suffer from the relational climate with their colleagues.
Similarly, no less than 35% of employees consider their remuneration to be low.
These results, reported by the daily, also revealed that call centers represent a career booster for young graduates.
Thus, 35% of employees said that this sector would be rich in opportunities and 54% of them indicated that they had managed to find a new job by making use of their past experience in a call center.
But 46% of employees do not share this view and think that in addition to being an enormous source of stress, their passage within a call center did not open any other doors for them.
