CAF Cup: JS Kabylie Faces AS FAR in Crucial Preliminary Round Match in Rabat

The Sports Association of the Armed Forces (AS FAR) will host the Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie this Saturday in Rabat as part of the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Cup. A match that promises to be difficult for the Moroccans who are nevertheless facing the finalist team of the last edition.
The Algerians of Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie will face the Moroccans of AS FAR this Saturday. The kick-off will be at 7 p.m. on the pitch of the Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat. The match will be refereed by three Tunisian referees, reports the daily Al Akhbar.

AS-FAR is under pressure for this home game that it must absolutely win to have the advantage over its opponent before the return leg which will be played at the end of next week in Tizi Ouzou. But the stakes are high for the Moroccan military who are facing an Algerian team that was a finalist in the last edition of the CAF Cup, won by Raja Casablanca.

The coach of AS-FAR, Sven Vandenbroeck, has initiated several sessions to boost the morale of the troops and restore confidence in the players before the match this Saturday. For this match against the Algerian team, the coach will be able to strengthen his squad with Reda Salim and Ouail Nouh, both back from injury, as well as with international players such as the Cape Verdean, Denis Borges, the Rwandan, Emmanuel Imanichmoe, and the Cameroonian, Lamert Arena.
