Algerian Soccer Club Honors Moroccan Boy Rayan in CAF Cup Match

Like many clubs around the world, the Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie (JSK) has paid tribute to little Rayan, who died last Saturday after being trapped for five days in a dry well in the village of Ighrane, near Chefchaouen.
As a gesture of solidarity with Morocco, which has been mourning the death of Rayan since Saturday, the players of the Algerian club JS Kabylie took advantage of their match against Royal Leopards, as part of the CAF Cup, to pay tribute to Rayan by wearing a jersey bearing the photo of the 5-year-old boy, accompanied by a message that read "Rest in peace Rayan Oram".
It is an enormous chain of solidarity since Saturday when the Royal Cabinet announced Rayan’s death. Before the start of the Africa Cup of Nations final between Senegal and Egypt, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the young boy, whose funeral is taking place this Monday.
