Bus Engulfed in Flames on Moroccan Highway; All 47 Passengers Escape Unharmed

A bus was completely consumed by fire on Friday on the national road connecting Tetouan to Chefchaouen, at the level of the Al Hamra commune. No human casualties were reported.
The bus, belonging to the Al Wissam Al Dhahabi company, was heading to Fez from Tetouan. All 47 passengers on board managed to get out of the vehicle before it caught fire.
Alerted, the civil protection elements went to the scene to bring the situation under control. The services of the Royal Gendarmerie of the region regulated the traffic between Tetouan and Chefchaouen, at the level of the Al Hamra commune, blocked after the incident.
The situation gradually returned to normal on this road axis. An investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to determine the causes and circumstances of the incident.
