British Firm SDX Energy to Drill 12 New Gas Wells in Morocco

12 new gas field wells will be drilled in the 4th quarter of 2019 in Morocco. In charge, the British company specialized in hydrocarbon exploration, SDX Energy.
As part of its activities, SDX Energy has launched its new drilling campaign in Morocco for the 4th quarter of 2019. To this end, the British company will drill 12 new wells. This achievement will be effective before the end of its operations in the first half of 2020.
The program will target 15 billion cubic feet of gross resources, according to a statement from the British company. The same source specifies that the planning of the drilling of the 12 wells is at an advanced stage.
With 5 concession contracts, including 2 signed last year, SDX Energy holds the monopoly in the exploration of gas fields in the Gharb basin, in particular, the fields in the Sebou, Lalla Mimouna, and Moulay Boucheta regions.
