Brentford Eyes Marseille’s Ounahi to Boost Premier League Midfield

A Premier League club wants to acquire the services of Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi, who wants to have playing time this season. The English club would have entered into negotiations with Olympique de Marseille in this regard.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank wants to strengthen his midfield and has targeted Azzedine Ounahi for a possible transfer from France to the Premier League, reports Daily Mail, saying that the English club has contacted Olympique de Marseille to negotiate an agreement with the 23-year-old Moroccan international. The Bees have had an unbeaten start to the Premier League season, but they sometimes lack creativity. A gap that the Marseille star could fill.
Ounahi could leave Marseille this summer due to lack of playing time. The new OM coach Marcelino García Toral and he do not have good relations. A starter at the beginning of the season, the Atlas Lion has spent two games on the bench against Metz and Brest. He would therefore consider joining an English or Spanish club and not a Saudi team, reports footmercato, adding that "contrary to recent rumors", his entourage and he "are not at all open to the idea of a transfer to Saudi Arabia".
