Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz Commits to Learning Arabic for Moroccan National Team

Now a member of the Moroccan national team, Brahim Diaz, born in Malaga, Spain, spoke about his command of the Arabic language.
Brahim Diaz is fluent in English and Italian from having played in Manchester and Milan, and of course Spanish, but not Arabic. "I’m going to have to learn Arabic. I knew a few words, but I left for England very young... I’m going to learn it. I’m 100% committed," he said during the El Larguero show. Quickly mastering Arabic could facilitate Diaz’s integration into the Moroccan team, but within the Moroccan team, many players speak Spanish fluently.
The Real Madrid star has decided to join the Atlas Lions, after playing in the Spanish youth categories and playing a friendly match against Lithuania with La Roja. The 24-year-old player has been called up by Moroccan coach Walid Regragui for the friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania, scheduled for March 22 and 26 at the Grand Stade d’Agadir.
