Brahim Diaz: the Moroccan Federation calls on Achraf Hakimi
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is not letting go of Brahim Diaz and wants at all costs to enlist him to join the Moroccan team. To do this, it has several assets.
The FRMF is actively working to convince Ibrahim Diaz, one of Real Madrid’s great players, to join the Moroccan team before the next international break scheduled for next March. This period is crucial to determine whether Diaz will choose to play for Morocco or Spain.
The task proves to be complicated for the Moroccan Federation, as the Spanish Football Federation is also trying to get Diaz to join the Spanish national team. The player knows La Roja well, having played for them when he was young.
Thus, the Federation would have solicited the help of Achraf Hakimi, the star player of Paris Saint-Germain and former Real Madrid player, to persuade Diaz to choose the Atlas Lions and tell him about the advantages of choosing Morocco.
Diaz, whose father is of Moroccan origin, finds himself in a difficult situation, torn between the two countries due to the pressure exerted by the two federations.
