Béziers Man Sentenced to 3 Years for Smuggling 24 Kilos of Cannabis from Morocco

Majid B., a 31-year-old man from Béziers, has just been sentenced to three years in prison by the Montpellier criminal court for cannabis resin trafficking, driving without a license and failure to comply.
The young man was arrested in Fabrègues on June 24, after a long chase on the A9 motorway. A little earlier, he had managed to escape a police check at the La Palme rest area because he was transporting 24 kilos of cannabis resin, reports Midi Libre. Placed in pre-trial detention
