Moroccan Man Sentenced in Montpellier Drug-Related Shooting, Suspect Still at Large

The Montpellier Raid unit had arrested at the end of September a Moroccan, the alleged perpetrator of a gunshot on an individual currently on the run and actively sought. The criminal court sentenced him to two years in prison, one of which was firm.
Tried in immediate appearance on Monday, October 2, this 29-year-old Moroccan, in an irregular situation in France, was sentenced to two years in prison, one year of which was firm, and a five-year ban from entering French territory. This conviction is not final, as the investigation is still ongoing due to a protagonist still being sought, reports actu.fr.
The defendant is accused of having opened fire on September 26 in the parking lot of a residence on Rue Roger Couderc, in the Grisettes West district. Alerted by the residents, the police had gone to the scene where they had discovered fresh human blood traces that led them to an apartment. The occupant, the Moroccan, had locked himself in and refused to open the door to them.
The elements of the Montpellier Raid finally arrested the defendant, who was slightly injured in the face. Subjected to questioning
