Belgian Muslims to Announce Ramadan 2020 Start Date on April 23

It is this Thursday, April 23 that we will know exactly the date of the beginning of Ramadan 2020 in Belgium.

The decision will be made after the meeting of the Council of Theologians, attached to the Executive of Muslims of Belgium, which is to be held on Thursday, April 23.

"The Council of Theologians, attached to the Executive of Muslims of Belgium, will meet by videoconference on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 6:30 pm in order to determine the start date of the month of Ramadan," the EMB states on its website.

According to astronomical calculations, the sacred month should begin on Friday, April 24.
