Belgian Muslim Council to Announce Ramadan Start Date on Sunday

Muslims in Belgium will be informed on Sunday about the start date of the month of Ramadan. The Council of Theologians, attached to the Executive of Muslims of Belgium (EMB) will make the announcement via videoconference at 5:30 p.m. (local time).
Sunday will be a decisive day for Muslims in Belgium. The Council of Theologians, attached to the Executive of Muslims of Belgium (EMB), will officially announce the start and end dates of the month of Ramadan. Meanwhile, the EMB has published on its website the calendar and prayer times for the holy month in Brussels, Antwerp and Charleroi. Belgium has more than 11.5 million inhabitants, of whom 7.6% are Muslims.
In France as well as in Morocco, the first day of Ramadan 1442H-2021 will correspond to April 13 and Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on May 13.
