Belgian Authorities Hunt for Most Wanted Drug Kingpin Rachid Bouazza

Of Moroccan origin, Rachid Bouazza, known in the drug trafficking trade, is listed by the Belgian authorities as the country’s most wanted fugitive. Already sentenced to 20 years in prison, he has not given any sign of life for several months. Despite the many efforts made to capture him, he remains untraceable.
Rachid Bouazza, 55 years old, and originally from the city of Tangier in Morocco, is giving the Belgian security forces a headache.
Since March 2019, they have been searching for this major trafficker who had fled after being sentenced to 20 years in prison by the Court of Appeal of Antwerp, the city where this Moroccan had set up his base in international drug trafficking, reports El faro de Ceuta.
However, Rachid Bouazza, who had been convicted of being one of the masterminds of an organization that had imported large quantities of cocaine from the Dominican Republic to Belgium via the port of Antwerp, is not the only fugitive sought by the Belgian authorities.
In addition to the Moroccan, another equally notorious in crime is actively being sought by the police. This is the Belgian Edouard Donys, sentenced to 25 years in prison for murder.
Already, the Belgian authorities suspect hiding places in countries like Spain, Germany and Romania, where these escaped criminals could take refuge.
