ISIS Fighter from Belgium Resists Deportation to Morocco, Citing Health Concerns

Infected with the AIDS virus, a Moroccan fighter of the Islamic State, who has lived for a long time in Molenbeek, Belgium, refuses to be repatriated to his country of origin.
Fearing reprisals in Morocco, Otman B., who fought within the Islamic State, does not wish to return to his country. Back from Syria, the one who has lived all his life in Molenbeek, Belgium has been sentenced to 4 years in prison in the "Zerkani" case, which tried several terrorists.
The young man is also the friend of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, considered the mastermind of the 2015 Paris attacks.
After serving his sentence, the fighter was sent to the closed center of Vottem (Liège), with a view to his expulsion to Morocco.
Fearing reprisals and already weakened by AIDS, the Moroccan national believes that Morocco cannot provide him with the necessary care.
According to the latest news, Otman B.’s request to remain in Belgium to receive adequate treatment has been rejected by the Council for Alien Law Litigation. He has decided to appeal.
