Beauvais, heavily used for Morocco, records 45 % of flights delayed this summer

Paris-Beauvais Airport recorded the worst punctuality among France’s fifteen major airports this summer. More than 45 % of the flights analyzed arrived there at least fifteen minutes late, a situation of direct interest to travelers on the many routes linking Beauvais with Morocco.

Between June 1 and September 7, 2026, 2,556 of the 5,632 flights analyzed on arrival at Beauvais were at least fifteen minutes late. The rate was precisely 45.38%, according to data from Flightright published Wednesday by Air Journal.

Beauvais thus recorded the worst punctuality among the fifteen major French airports studied. Nice followed with 44.98% of arrivals delayed, ahead of Figari at 43.54%.

This poor performance concerns an airport widely used by travelers between France and Morocco. Ryanair connects Beauvais with several cities in the kingdom, notably Tangier, Nador, Fez, Marrakech, Essaouira and Agadir.

Beauvais performs worse than Roissy and Orly

The 45.38% covers all flights arriving at Beauvais, not only Moroccan routes. Flightright does not provide a separate delay rate for flights arriving from Morocco.

The result nevertheless places Beauvais behind the two other main Paris airports. At Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle, 40.50% of arrivals exceeded the fifteen-minute threshold, compared with 30.55% at Paris-Orly.

Roissy nevertheless recorded the largest number of delays in absolute terms because of its much higher traffic: 25,484 flights arrived there at least fifteen minutes late during the period studied.
