Royal Air Maroc punctuality beats Air Algérie in France

Between 1 June and 20 July 2026, 220 of the 1 202 Royal Air Maroc flights monitored departing from French airports arrived at least fifteen minutes late.

During the same period, Air Algérie recorded 951 delayed flights out of a total of 2 228, representing a rate of 42.68%. According to Flightright’s barometer, flights operated by the Algerian airline were therefore affected more than twice as often as those of RAM.

RAM among France’s best

Royal Air Maroc ranked second among the twenty major airlines assessed for punctuality. Only Turkish Airlines performed better, with 15.61% of flights delayed.

RAM clearly outperformed other carriers with a strong presence on routes between France and Morocco. Transavia recorded a delay rate of 31.71%, Vueling 31.56%, Ryanair 45.27%, and Air France 38.31%.

Across all airlines, 41 033 of the 107 970 flights analyzed experienced a delay of at least fifteen minutes, representing nearly 38% of departures recorded in France during this first part of the summer.
