Bayern Munich Eyes Ziyech as Potential Sané Alternative Amid Transfer Saga

The recent injury of the Citizen, Leroy Sané, is a concern for Bayern officials, to the point of wanting to secure the services of the Moroccan international, Hakim Ziyech, to support their attacking midfield.

The fate of the Moroccan international, Ziyech, seems to be linked to that of the German, Leroy Sané. The attacking midfielder of Manchester City, long desired by Bayern Munich, is being coy for the simple reason that the officials of the English club are not sellers, except to be offered a dazzling offer.

With a market value of 110 million euros, the German player of Senegalese origin is dragging his feet. In the absence of a response, the choice of Hakim Ziyech (35 to 50 million euros) seems to be an alternative. The injury of the German international, on August 5, 2019, in the 13th minute of the Community Shield, won by Manchester City against Liverpool, can however be the trigger to make the officials of the German club decide to launch the negotiations with Ajax, the current club of the Moroccan player, and reconsider the Ziyech option.

Even if Bayern’s interest in the Moroccan is more than visible, no steps have been taken to move the file forward.

However, the German championship interests the Ajax player from afar, who, already having a release voucher, is just waiting for the right offer to slam the door of the Dutch club. The latter, a few weeks earlier, had already turned down FC Seville, saying: "I think Seville is at the same level as Ajax and I won’t change just to change. The right club hasn’t made an offer yet, so for now I’m staying loyal to Ajax."
