Bayern Munich Coach Tuchel Addresses Mazraoui’s Playing Time Concerns

On the sidelines of the reception of Hertha Berlin, the coach of Bayern Munich Thomas Tuchel responded to Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui who complained about his playing time.
"I also want him (Noussair Mazraoui) to play more. Everyone receives maximum support from us and then everyone is challenged. If you only get five minutes, you have to deliver in those five minutes. You always, always, always have to be at your best level. Then you prepare," said the German technician, before adding: "Wishing for something is one thing. Forcing something is another."
Since his injury and health problems due to Covid-19 towards the end of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the playing time of Moroccan international Noussair Mazraou has been limited. He has provided three assists in 21 games this season. Since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, he has only played two minutes on the pitch. Enough to annoy the former Ajax star. "I’m disappointed with my current situation. I was a starter here before the World Cup, now I’m fit and I don’t have any playing time anymore. I’m not even the second or third choice. It’s too early to talk about my future, but it’s not good," he had said to the press.
