The Catalan club announced on Thursday that the 20-year-old Moroccan winger, as well as Sergiño Dest and Coutinho, have tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of infected players in the squad to ten. This news is likely to upset the plans of the Moroccan national team coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, who was expecting Abde on January 3.
It should be noted that Barça was not willing to let the player leave in order for him to take part in his first CAN, which will take place in Cameroon.
