Barcelona Set for Financial Boost from Potential Ezzalzouli Transfer

The potential sale of Real Betis’ Moroccan striker, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, currently in great form, will benefit Barça, whose financial situation is delicate.
The resale of Ez Abde will be a windfall for FC Barcelona. The Catalan club retains 20% on the resale of the Moroccan striker, reveals the Spanish daily Sport. If the sale of the Moroccan player were to materialize during the summer transfer window, Barça could somewhat resolve its problems related to financial fair play. The club’s president Joan Laporta is counting on this operation.
The Moroccan winger arrived at Betis from Barça for 7.5 million euros, with a buy-back option for Barcelona. This season, the 23-year-old player has scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists in 49 matches across all competitions. His contract with Betis runs until 2029. During the 2022-2023 season, he was loaned to Osasuna.
