Barcelona Plans Global Pre-Season Tour with Stops in Morocco, Japan, and South Korea

Qualified for the Champions League semi-finals, FC Barcelona is already preparing for the 2025/26 pre-season. The Catalan club is considering playing friendly matches in Morocco and Asia.
In a radio interview, Joan Laporta indicated that Barça is studying the possibility of playing a friendly match in Morocco next summer. The president of the Catalan club also informed that the Blaugranas will play two friendly matches in South Korea. But before that, they will be in Japan on July 27 for a friendly match against Vissel Kobe, on the occasion of the Japanese club’s 30th anniversary, reports Sport.es.
Laporta hopes that Barça will earn a minimum of 20 million euros for this tour. This amount could reach 25 million euros, with various commercial commitments and sponsors, he estimates, specifying that this significant revenue will compensate for Barça’s absence from the Club World Cup.
